»   Secure and create events, trade fairs and congresses of regional, national and international scope;

»   Publicise and develop leisure and event/professional tourism, in partnership with public and private organizations;

»  Defend the interests of associated companies;

»   Support events due to take place in the region, through the provision of information about companies that provide services, the infrastructure of the city and its tourist attractions;

»  Participate in trade fairs, workshops and initiatives directed towards the advertising of tourism in Pernambuco state, in partnership with the official tourist authorities;

»  Set up the Events and Business Procurement Project, by means of the technical catalogue containing information on the products offered by its associates, and the campaign for promoting Recife and its Metropolitan region for events and business opportunities;

»  Carry out research to measure the economic impact of the Brazilian event tourism sector, in partnership with the Brazilian Forum of Convention & Visitors Bureaux.
